That the Parliament commends the work of Warriors in the Community SCIO, the charity arm of Stenhousemuir FC, for its community outreach activity; notes the launch of its Winter Warm Hub initiative, operating from the Tryst Community Centre, Stenhousemuir, where local people are welcomed and supported in a warm and friendly space; further notes its participation in the SPFL Trust’s Festive Friends programme, including its recent Festive Meal and Christmas Hamper delivery, bringing cheer and companionship to local older residents; understands that these activities build on work first begun during the COVID-19 pandemic through the club’s Community Help Initiative, which has assisted over 350 households, delivered more than 3,500 meals and carried out in excess of 2,500 shopping trips, together with other services, including befriending and dog walking; further understands that this work represents more than 23,000 hours of community volunteering; recognises that the charity operates a number of sporting and non-sporting activities from its base at Ochilview Park, aimed at increasing participation in sport across all age ranges and genders, including its award-winning Mental Health Football programme; further recognises that its partnership with Andy’s Man Club assists local men in having a supportive space to find peer-to-peer support around challenging topics, including suicide; congratulates and thanks all involved in Warriors in the Community for their continued efforts to assist others, and wishes them every success for the future.
