That the Parliament congratulates Little Kerse in Polmont on being awarded £389,000 funding from the SP Energy Networks’ Green Economy Fund; understands that Little Kerse Community Sports hub will be able to make use of the funding to refurbish its premises, install a wider range of energy efficiency measures and introduce more renewable energy solutions; notes that Little Kerse have already installed a solar farm, battery storage technology, electric vehicle charging points and LED floodlights, which all contribute to Little Kerse increasing its renewable energy usage and reducing its carbon footprint to reach energy saving targets; considers that the increase in renewable energy consumption has reduced the need for grid-based energy sourcing, and the money saved from this will be invested into existing projects that Little Kerse is involved with to promote good physical and mental health in young people across the Falkirk district; congratulates Little Kerse Community Sports hub on successfully being awarded this funding from SP Energy Networks’ Green Economy Fund, and wishes everyone involved well for their future endeavours.
