Ayr Rapper Bemz Crowned Scottish Act of the Year

That the Parliament recognises the achievement of the rapper, Bemz, from Ayr, who was named BBC Introducing’s Scottish Act of the Year; understands that this is an opportunity to uncover the best creative talent across the country; further understands that Bemz has been selected by the panel and will perform in the final of BBC Introducing's Scottish Act of the Year; understands that Bemz considers Ayrshire as the place where he began his music as a teenager; highlights the importance of providing support to local venues that develop creative talent; notes the impact that Bemz has had on many young creative individuals who want to pursue their passion; celebrates his great achievements, and wishes him all the best in the future.
