Heather Morrison Receives MBE for Services to Dementia Services, Scouting and the Community in Aberdeenshire

That the Parliament congratulates Heather Morrison of Strachan, Aberdeenshire, on being appointed an MBE in the Queen’s New Year Honours List 2022 for her support for dementia services and the local community; understands that Heather has been active in Deeside for more than 30 years through her work in social care, and created the charity, the Forget Me Not Club, in Banchory, to support people suffering from dementia, as well as their family and carers; further understands that Heather has also been involved with the Scouts for over 50 years, first as a leader and now as a member of the District Appointment Committee; commends Heather for her continued dedication to the people living in Deeside and families across the north east, and wishes her all the best.
