That the Parliament congratulates Beetroot Restaurant in Bonnyrigg on winning South East Winner of Restaurant of the Year; notes that this award was received at the Food Awards Scotland 2021, held in Glasgow; considers that it is a great change, for local venues to receive the recognition they truly deserve; believes that it is important that local businesses are supported and commended for their efforts; applauds Beetroot Restaurant on its achievement, and wishes all the staff the best going forward.
