  • Submitted by: Murdo Fraser, Mid Scotland and Fife, Scottish Conservative and Unionist Party.
  • Date lodged: Thursday, 18 November 2021
  • Motion reference: S6M-02174

That the Parliament welcomes Perth-based SSE’s £12.5 billion plan to accelerate the UK’s progress towards net zero; understands that the company plans to spend around £7 million a day on low-carbon infrastructure, which is needed for net zero transition; further understands that SSE plans to increase renewables output and, in the process, create jobs, and wishes the company all the best for the future.
