Our Lady’s High School Marks UNCRC

That the Parliament commends Our Lady’s High School, in Motherwell, Rights Respecting Group, which is led by Mrs Jennifer Woolley of the Social Subjects Department, for presenting the importance of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) and the voice of pupils to staff at Our Lady’s High School; notes that the school, which bases its ethos on growing together and working together, has stressed the importance of children's rights by presenting a pupil-led seminar on rights respecting schools, the UNCRC, and aiding young people to reach their full potential; commends Mrs Woolley and the Rights Respecting Group for their dedication to raising awareness of human rights by implementing them in the school’s everyday life, and wishes the Social Subjects Department and the school community all the very best in their endeavours.
