Opening of Nairn Splashpad

That the Parliament welcomes the opening of the new splashpad in Nairn on 10 September 2021; notes that the splashpad is the result of fundraising by the Team Hamish group, in memory of Hamish Hey who passed away in 2017, aged eight, as a result of diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma, and his mother, Susan Hey, who passed away in 2020 from breast cancer; congratulates Team Hamish on its dedication to the community of Nairn and the surrounding area, and applauds the generosity of the local community in securing this achievement for residents and visitors of Nairn.
