Haddington High Street Stalwart to Close

That the Parliament acknowledges the imminent closure of Joe Forte Sports in Haddington, which has been a fixture on the town's High Street since it first opened on 27 July 1985; notes that, as well as running the successful sports shop, Joe, a former professional footballer, has also taken on leading roles in the local community, as Chair of Haddington Business Association, Blooming Haddington and Haddington Running Club; thanks him for everything that he has done for local businesses and the town over the years, and wishes him and his wife all the best for their retirement.
