That the Parliament congratulates the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in being named as one of the world’s top three destinations to study the performing arts in the 2021 QS World University Rankings for Performing Arts; recognises the significance of this achievement and that this was been the fifth time the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland has been named in the world top 10 and that it sits alongside other world-leading institutions such as the Royal College of Music in London and New York’s The Julliard School; notes that this demonstrates the importance of Scotland’s world-leading further and higher education institutions, and pledges to continue to support Scotland’s world-class performing arts industry.
