Annette Bruton Retires After 40 Years of Service

That the Parliament congratulates Annette Bruton, who is retiring as Edinburgh College’s principal after more than 40 years working in education and the public sector; understands that Annette took up the post as principal and chief executive officer of the college in May 2015 and has helped develop into a robust, financially-sustainable organisation that has a clear sense of strategic direction; acknowledges that her knowledge and expertise will be greatly missed across the education sector, and wishes Annette a very happy retirement.
