Spirit of Rugby Award-winner, Jock Todd

That the Parliament congratulates Jock Todd, who was named the Spirit of Rugby Award-winner at the Scottish Rugby Club Awards Dinner at BT Murrayfield; understands that, after joining the Kelso Harlequins in the 1960s, he became club secretary in 1968 and, over the next 35 seasons, he has had one or more of the posts of President, Secretary, Fixtures Secretary, Referees Secretary, Sponsorship Convener, Tour Organiser, Bus Convener, Touch-judge and Spongeman, and, for the last 15 years, has been both Chairman and Fixtures Secretary; recognises that some well-known rugby figures have represented the Kelso Harlequins during Jock’s tenure, including Scotland’s most capped player, Ross Ford, and his fellow British Lion, John Jeffrey, and thanks Jock for his dedication and contribution to the Kelso Harlequins and Scottish rugby.
