That the Parliament congratulates the Pollokshaws Area Network on receiving £149,930 from the Big Lottery Fund Scotland; understands that the group will use the funding to bring the community together through a variety of activities aimed to help build capacity, develop new skills and improve health and wellbeing; notes that activities will be based in the Pollokshaws Community Hub and Garden, and acknowledges that the network currently runs regular activities including a community choir, exercise classes, yoga, coffee mornings, needlecraft and a fully operational community garden.
