That the Parliament understands that the Princess Royal visited Selkirk on 20 September 2017 to mark the 70th anniversary of the Borders textile firm, Lochcarron, in her capacity as president of the UK Fashion and Textile Association; notes that the company has been creating fine fabrics, accessories and tartans since 1947, including the Princess Diana Memorial Tartan, and considers that it is one of the premier tartan producers in the world, and wishes Lochcarron continued success in the future.
