That the Parliament commends the work of Alzheimer Scotland, an organisation that advocates for people living with Alzheimer’s disease and works with the NHS and other organisations to promote early diagnosis, which can often be key to ensuring a high quality of life; recognises the organisation's call for a guaranteed national pathway through which evidence-based interventions are offered to all people with a dementia diagnosis throughout the progression of the condition, and which is accessible across Scotland; understands that, in the year ending 31 March 2025, the organisation raised £18,027,425 to provide support for people living with the condition; acknowledges that it also has over 250 volunteers providing vital services to the dementia community, and concludes by praising the work of Alzheimer Scotland and wishing it every success in its ongoing activities to support people living with the condition.
