That the Parliament congratulates Edinburgh Zoo on the births of three capybara pups on 28 October 2026; recognises the historic significance of the birth of these pups, which are the first in the zoo since the birth of their big brother, Bru, in May, the first capybara born in Scotland in 18 years; congratulates their parents, Luna and Rodney; applauds the devotion of the keepers at Edinburgh Zoo; acknowledges that there are only 11 capybaras in Scotland across Edinburgh Zoo and the Scottish Deer Centre in Fife, and believes that these births are an important moment for wildlife conservation.
