That the Parliament recognises the Fabric: Creating Care display at the Scottish Parliament, developed by Creative Dundee and running from 14 October to 14 November 2026 as part of the Scottish Mental Health Arts Festival; celebrates the peer-led programme that brought together young people and practitioners from creative, health and community settings to reimagine support for young people’s mental health; recognises the importance of centring young people’s lived experience, creativity and participation in shaping the services and support that affect their lives; believes that compassionate, inclusive and community-rooted approaches to mental health must take seriously what young people say to help them to thrive, as well as what existing systems fail to provide; commends Creative Dundee and all the young people, practitioners and partner organisations involved in Fabric: Creating Care for demonstrating the potential of collective creativity to inform more humane and responsive systems of care, and encourages decision-makers to learn from this work and ensure that young people have meaningful opportunities to shape the support that they need.
