Daytona Mills’ Outstanding Contribution to Garrowhill and Baillieston

That the Parliament recognises the outstanding contribution of Daytona Mills to the communities of Garrowhill and Baillieston; notes that Daytona has organised several events and initiatives that are fixtures in the life in these areas; further notes that these events include monthly litter picks, the annual Hallowe’en Walk, an International Women’s Day event and community Christmas events; understands that Daytona was recently re-elected as chair of Garrowhill Community Council for a third consecutive term; believes that Daytona’s re-election is testament to her formidable ability to foster positive relationships with residents, community organisations and businesses in Garrowhill and Baillieston; congratulates Daytona on all her achievements for the communities to date, and wishes her every success for the future.
