That the Parliament welcomes Community Justice Scotland’s national event, Beyond Bars: problem-solving courts and the future of justice, taking place in Edinburgh on 8 October 2026; notes that the event brings together experts from Scotland and internationally to share learning on problem-solving courts and justice reform; welcomes the opportunity to consider how evidence-led approaches can address the underlying causes of offending and reduce reoffending; recognises the work being undertaken to improve justice outcomes and strengthen community safety, and wishes the organisers and participants a successful event.
