Craig Stirrat Retires from Grampian Housing Association

That the Parliament notes the retirement of Craig Stirrat, chief executive of Grampian Housing Association; recognises that Craig has played what it considers to be a pivotal role in strengthening Grampian Housing Association’s position as one of the north east’s most trusted and forward-thinking housing providers; understands that, since joining Grampian Housing Association in 2014 following senior roles with Fife Housing Group, Built Environment Scotland, Aberdeen City Council and Kirkcaldy District Council, Craig has been instrumental in shaping the organisation’s strategic direction and expanding its impact; believes that under Craig’s leadership, Grampian Housing Association has achieved several major milestones, including being recognised as one of the country’s best companies to work for and securing the Customer Service Excellence Standard through its flagship Grampian Deal; considers that Craig has also made a significant contribution nationally through his current role on the Board of the Scottish Federation of Housing Associations and through previous roles, including as chair of the Chartered Institute of Housing in Scotland, where he served for more than a decade; recognises Craig’s hard work, dedication and commitment, and wishes him a well-deserved and well-earned retirement.
