Bridge of Don and District Men’s Shed Celebrates 10 years

That the Parliament congratulates Bridge of Don and District Men’s Shed on its 10-year-anniversary; understands that the men’s shed aims to create a place where local residents and the wider community are able to come together and feel part of a larger group, meet new people and further their social interaction; recognises what it considers to be the important role that Men's Shed organisations play in tackling social isolation and the positive impact that they have on men's mental health across Scotland; commends the continuing work of the Bridge of Don’s Men Shed in supporting men’s mental health through community-based initiatives, such as its monthly Producers' Market, which is held at the Gordon Barracks; recognises the work of the organisation's dedicated volunteers in providing an open space for the benefit of the community, and wishes Bridge of Don and District Men’s Shed all the best for the future.
