That the Parliament congratulates five East Lothian food and drink producers on achieving the highest three-star accolade at the 2026 Great Taste Awards, which are reportedly widely regarded as the “Oscars of the food world”; recognises the success of Brose Oats of East Linton for its original gluten-free Scottish oat milk, Belhaven Smokehouse of Dunbar for its smoked butter, Dodger Jam near Morham for its Loganberry Jam, Wild & Wonder of Haddington for its Silvertear Vintage Birch Vodka, and Yester Farm Dairies near Gifford for its award-winning soft cheese; notes that these five producers account for almost a quarter of Scotland’s three-star winners at this year’s awards; praises the dedication, innovation and craftsmanship that have contributed to East Lothian’s growing reputation as a centre of excellence in food and drink production; welcomes the positive impact that such achievements have on the local economy, tourism and Scotland’s international food and drink reputation, and wishes all those involved continued success in the future.
