That the Parliament congratulates The Gordon Arms Restaurant with Rooms in the Yarrow Valley on being named among 100 Best Local Restaurants in Great Britain by The Good Food Guide for the third consecutive year; recognises what it considers is the outstanding achievement of being ranked 62nd in the UK, placing this family-run establishment among the country’s leading independent restaurants; understands that 100 Best Local Restaurants celebrates restaurants that demonstrate exceptional food, hospitality, character and strong connections with their communities; acknowledges that this prestigious recognition follows around 60,000 nominations from diners across Great Britain, with the final 100 selected by anonymous inspectors by The Good Food Guide; notes the dedication, passion and commitment of Bryn, Oxana, their family and their small but dedicated team in creating a destination restaurant that showcases the quality and hospitality of the Scottish Borders; recognises the contribution that The Gordon Arms makes to the area's economy and tourism sector by attracting visitors to the Yarrow Valley, and congratulates everyone involved on this remarkable achievement, wishing them every continued success as they continue to provide memorable dining experiences for guests from Scotland and beyond.
