Congratulatons to Borrowfield Primary School on Receiving RHET’s Prestigious 2026 Charles Brown Trophy

That the Parliament congratulates Borrowfield Primary School in Montrose on being awarded the Royal Highland Education Trust’s (RHET) 2026 Charles Brown Trophy; recognises that this prestigious trophy is awarded to schools that demonstrate excellence in partnership working with RHET; notes that Borrowfield was selected from more than 100 school across Angus and Dundee in recognition of its sustained commitment to food, farming and countryside education; commends the school’s innovative outdoor learning programme, through which pupils grow food and gain first-hand experience of agriculture and the natural environment; recognises the positive contribution that this can make to children’s understanding of where food comes from, sustainability and rural industries, and wishes everyone involved continued success.
