Recognising Duncan's Eggs on its Selection as Official Supporter of the Glasgow Commonwealth Games 2026 and Team Scotland

That the Parliament recognises Duncan’s Eggs on its selection as an official supporter of the Glasgow Commonwealth Games 2026 and Team Scotland; notes that Duncan’s Eggs is the brand produced by family business Duncan Farms, based in Turriff, Aberdeenshire; understands that the Commonwealth Games 2026 will take place at sports venues within Glasgow from 23 July to 2 August; further understands that the games will welcome athletes representing Commonwealth nations to what it believes will be a showcase of community, culture and sport; considers that Duncan’s Eggs will produce 200,000 free-range eggs, serving over 3,000 athletes from 74 nations and territories; believes that Duncan’s Eggs' field to fork model places sustainability at the heart of its operations, through home-grown feed, renewable energy and further sustainability practices; recognises that Duncan’s Eggs provides an online egg tracker that allows each egg to be traced from farm production to supermarket shelf; agrees with the view that the produce of Duncan’s Eggs represents a naturally-sourced protein of high nutritional value that will assist the athletes in achieving optimal performance; celebrates with Duncan Egg’s on this achievement, and wishes it all the very best for the games and beyond.
