That the Scottish Parliament congratulates Newtongrange Primary School on being awarded the sportscotland Gold School Sport Award for 2026–28; notes that the award recognises the school’s achievements in placing sport at the heart of its planning, practice and ethos; understands that the school has demonstrated an excellent commitment to increasing pupils’ opportunities for, and engagement in, physical education, and thanks the staff and pupils for their hard work and dedication.
