24-hour Litter Pick in Aberdeen

That the Parliament notes that a 24-hour litter pick session took place across Aberdeen on 18 June 2026, which was organised by Clean Up Aberdeen in partnership with Keep Scotland Beautiful; understands that many groups across the city, including groups based within the Aberdeen Donside constituency, took part in this event such as Forehill School, Braehead School, Scotstown School, Brimmond School, Orchard Brae School, Bramble Brae School, Bucksburn Academy, Dyce Academy, Keep Middlefield Clean and Northfield Community Centre; believes that this year’s litter pick saw 584 individuals participate, with 252 bags being filled across the 52 organised clean-ups across the city; thanks the Environmental Services Team at Aberdeen City Council for its continued efforts in ensuring that Aberdeen is a clean and welcoming city; commends the efforts of all who took part in this event to help clean up Aberdeen, and wishes those who took part in the event all the best going forward.
