That the Parliament congratulates the School of Medicine, Medical Sciences and Nutrition at the University of Aberdeen, on receiving the 2026 Association for the Study of Medical Education (ASME) Institutional ‘Commitment to Scholarship’ Award; understands that the University of Aberdeen’s medical school is the only medical school in Scotland to receive this prestigious award, with judges praising the school’s "outstanding and sustained commitment" to scholarship in health professionals’ education; notes that ASME’s Institutional Awards celebrate organisations that "demonstrate excellence in advancing educational scholarship and foster environments where innovation, research and collaboration can thrive"; commends the hard work and efforts of all staff who work within the University of Aberdeen’s medical school, and wishes them all the best for the future.
