Clydebank Nursery Staff Raise Money for Cancer Research UK

That the Parliament congratulates the staff of Children’s Hour Nursery in Clydebank for raising £1,840 for Cancer Research UK by completing the Pretty Mudder 5K challenge; notes that the event is part of the national Race for Life series and saw the team complete a 5km obstacle course, which involved crawling, climbing and sliding through the mud; understands that the team were inspired to take part due to the impact that cancer has had on so many lives; recognises that the money raised will support Cancer Research UK’s work into the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cancer and its aims to improve survival rates and bring forward new scientific breakthroughs; congratulates the team on this fantastic achievement, and wishes its members all the best for the future.
