That the Parliament congratulates Fraser Short, restaurant and bar manager at The Leddie in Aberlady, on being named one of the UK’s top hospitality talents at the 2026 Acorn Awards; notes that the awards recognise the 30 brightest individuals under the age of 30 working in the hospitality industry, with Fraser among a select number of Scottish recipients; recognises his contribution to establishing The Leddie’s dining reputation, supporting staff development and enhancing the overall guest experience as well as his commitment to training and professional development within the team; understands that the Acorn Awards are widely regarded as one of the most prestigious honours in the hospitality sector, and commends Fraser for his achievement and for contributing to East Lothian’s growing reputation for excellence in hospitality and tourism.
