That the Parliament congratulates Ewan Wallace on receiving the Outstanding Contribution to Transport award at the 2026 Scottish Transport Awards; notes that Ewan was recognised for being a central figure in shaping transportation policy and practice across Scotland, for his leadership in the Scottish Collaboration of Transport Specialists (SCOTS) and for the advice and guidance he provides through COSLA; understands that Ewan’s ability to bring people together, including across local authorities, and to find consensus, were praised at the awards; welcomes the contribution that Ewan has made to transport across Scotland in his many roles, including his work with Aberdeenshire Council, and thanks him for his hard work and dedication over many years.
