That the Parliament acknowledges the sad passing of former Argyll & Bute councillor, Donnie MacMillan BEM; notes that Donnie’s public service as a councillor spanned five decades until he retired in 2022, at the age of 94; understands that his dedication to his community, who were always in his heart, along with his warm and friendly personality made him an exceptionally popular public figure; recognises that he was awarded both the BEM in The Queen’s New Year Honours List in 2019 and the Freedom of Argyll & Bute in 2022, and sends its sincere condolences to his family at this sad time.
