That the Parliament recognises the 10th anniversary of the opening of Woodland View in Irvine; understands that the facility, which opened in 2016, was delivered by NHS Ayrshire and Arran with significant investment from the Scottish Government; believes that the facility represents a major commitment to modern, person-centred mental health and learning disability services across the county of Ayrshire; acknowledges that Woodland View was designed to provide high-quality therapeutic environments that support recovery, dignity and care closer to home; understands that the development has reportedly been widely regarded as a transformational investment in mental health services across the NHS board area, helping to reduce the need for individuals to receive care outside Ayrshire; commends the dedication, professionalism and compassion of all staff, past and present, whose work continues to make a meaningful difference to patients, families and carers; recognises the ongoing importance of accessible, high-quality mental health services within communities, and wishes all those associated with Woodland View continued success in supporting the wellbeing of people across Ayrshire and Arran in the years to come.
