That the Parliament congratulates the Alana Rose Irish Dance School on its exceptional achievements at the World Irish Dance Association (WIDA) World and International Championships 2026; understands that the Clydebank school, which is led by Alana McLaughlin, saw Tegan Connolly crowned World Champion in the under 11-year-old category and Ava Rose Thompson awarded International Champion in the under eight-year-old category; welcomes that several other dancers in the team achieved personal bests and placed very highly; acknowledges the hard work and dedication of every dancer to get to this stage, and congratulates Alana and the team for their outstanding achievements and for putting Clydebank on the map.
