45 years of Ardgowan Hospice

That the Parliament congratulates Ardgowan Hospice in Greenock as it approaches its 45th anniversary in July 2026; recognises what it sees as the exceptional care, compassion and support that the hospice has provided to patients and families across Inverclyde since its founding in 1981; pays tribute to the dedication of its staff, volunteers, supporters and trustees who continue to ensure that high quality palliative and end of life care is available to all who need it; acknowledges what it sees as the vital role the hospice plays at the heart of the community, offering not only medical care but also emotional, practical and holistic support; commends the generosity of local residents and partners whose fundraising efforts sustain the hospice’s services, and wishes Ardgowan Hospice every success as it marks this significant milestone and continues its invaluable work for many years to come.
