That the Parliament recognises the SAN TV Community Awards on its first awards ceremony in Scotland and the wider UK, which is dedicated to celebrating the contributions of the South Asian diaspora; acknowledges the role of volunteers, educators, youth leaders, grassroots organisations, civic partners, health and wellbeing advocates and other individuals whose work strengthens Scotland’s social fabric; notes that the awards celebrate recipients from the five South Asian communities represented in Scotland; welcomes that the ceremony will be broadcast across SAN TV’s digital platforms, ensuring wide visibility and engagement, and commends all those who contribute to inclusion, representation and the recognition of diverse voices within civic and community life across Scotland and the UK.
