That the Parliament congratulates Jacqui Mackinnon, the headteacher of Dunbar Primary School, on her forthcoming retirement after nearly 40 years of service in education across East Lothian; notes that Jacqui has worked in a number of schools throughout the county during her long career and has led Dunbar primary since 2023; understands that she will step down at the end of the current school term in June 2026; recognises the significant contribution that she has made to the school community, providing leadership at one of Scotland’s largest primary schools and supporting pupils, staff and families; acknowledges the commitment, dedication and professionalism that she has shown throughout her career, and wishes Jacqui well in her retirement and future endeavours.
