That the Parliament congratulates Fraserburgh Harbour Trust on the successful completion of the refurbishment work at Fraserburgh Fish Market; recognises the significance of this milestone for Fraserburgh, where the harbour and fish market have long been the lifeblood of the town’s economy, identity and community spirit; notes that the modernised fish market will support better facilities for buyers, sellers and workers across the seafood supply chain, helping to secure jobs and sustain the local fishing industry; commends the ambition, vision and dedication of all those involved in delivering this project, including trust members, volunteers, funders, contractors and local partners; acknowledges the importance of maintaining world-class infrastructure to support Scotland’s fishing and seafood sector, and believes that this achievement will help strengthen Fraserburgh’s economic resilience, community pride and future prospects.
