That the Parliament congratulates Kim Beattie, an athlete at the Banchory Trampoline & DMT Club, on receiving the MT Athlete of the Year award, and her coach, Melanie Stewart Wills, on receiving the DMT Coach of the Year award, at the British Gymnastics Performance Partnership Awards; notes that these national awards celebrate gymnasts and coaches who demonstrate teamwork, leadership and contribution to the sport; recognises Kim’s success as a frequent medallist at the British Championships and her contribution to the British team at the European and World Championships, as well as her valued role mentoring younger athletes; acknowledges the outstanding 12-year coaching partnership between Kim and Melanie, and wishes them further success in their endeavours.
