That the Parliament congratulates Team GB's men's curling squad of Bruce Mouat, Grant Hardie, Bobby Lammie, Hammy McMillan Jr and alternate Kyle Waddell on securing the silver medal at the 2026 Winter Olympic Games; recognises the leadership of performance coach Michael Goodfellow and the contribution of national coach Greg Drummond in preparing the team for success; acknowledges that the squad, made up entirely of Scottish athletes, continues Scotland's proud and deep-rooted curling heritage, a sport with centuries-old origins in Scottish communities; notes the important role played by local curling clubs across the country, including those in Dumfries and Galloway playing in rinks such as the Dumfries Ice Bowl, and in Stranraer and Lockerbie, as well as local grassroots clubs that nurture young athletes; commends the team for inspiring the next generation of curlers while strengthening Scotland's reputation as a global powerhouse in the sport, and wishes Team Mouat continued success in its forthcoming tournaments.
