That the Parliament welcomes the January 2026 report, Twenty Years On, which was published by Ramblers Scotland, with the support of the Scottish Outdoor Access Network; notes that it is based on a survey of all 34 access authorities and assesses progress with recreational outdoor access rights, 20 years after these statutory rights were commenced; welcomes recognition of what it sees as Scotland's world class access rights; understands that their effectiveness is linked to, among other elements, investment in paths and associated infrastructure, good quality public information on rights and responsibilities in enjoying both outdoor recreation and access and authorities having the capacity and will to ensure that rights are upheld, and believes that there are opportunities to strengthen Scotland's commitment to outdoor access and recreation in the coming months and years.
