Economic Forum for Family Empowerment Scotland Receives £20,000 National Lottery Grant

That the Parliament congratulates the Economic Forum for Family Empowerment Scotland on receiving a £20,000 grant from the National Lottery Community Fund; recognises that this funding will be used to build on a previous award and continue to support families across a range of ethnic groups; acknowledges the positive impact that the organisation makes to New Scots migrants, refugees and asylum seekers through various projects, such as free community meals, cooking drop-in sessions, and befriending outreach programmes for single parents, young people, families and older people; commends the organisation for its commitment to helping those who have experienced significant adversity, and welcomes the support from the National Lottery Community Fund to continue this fantastic work.
