That the Parliament celebrates the achievements of Strichen Primary School's afterschool robotics club, which is in its third year and is enabling pupils to build, drive and pre-code robots for the annual worldwide VEX competition; notes that Edinburgh is the only accessible regional qualifying event for the school, from which teams can progress to the UK Championships in Telford; further notes that the school has earned multiple awards in recent years and has successfully placed teams at the UK Championships each year, including 2026; acknowledges that the club relies entirely on fundraising to cover costs, such as £150 per team registration, around £5,000 for travel, accommodation and food for three teams attending the two-day UK Championships, and ongoing expenses for VEX IQ kits and equipment maintenance; applauds the commitment of the pupils, staff and volunteers involved in this growing STEM programme, and wishes the Strichen Primary School Robotics Team every success in its upcoming competitions.
