Aberdeen Restaurant Weeks

  • Submitted by: Kevin Stewart, Aberdeen Central, Scottish National Party.
  • Date lodged: Tuesday, 03 February 2026
  • Motion type: Standard Motion
  • Motion reference: S6M-20662

That the Parliament welcomes the news that Aberdeen Restaurant Weeks will be returning to the Granite City from 23 February to 8 March 2026; notes that over 90 restaurants, cafes and bars are taking part in the event, with several making their debut this year, and many others that have participated in previous years; understands that participating venues will be offering special dinner and lunch menus ranging from £10 to £30, as well as specially curated à la carte and tasting menus; further understands that the event will see the return of the Secret Suppers, which are three unique dining experiences held in unusual spaces, some with real historical significance, where diners will not know where they are eating or what is on the menu until the day of the supper; believes that Aberdeen Restaurant Weeks is a great initiative that helps to promote the fantastic array of options that Aberdeen’s hospitality scene has to offer, and hopes that it is every bit as successful as the previous events.
