That the Parliament congratulates Archerfield Walled Garden on reaching the significant fundraising milestone of £80,000 in support of Reverse Rett, the UK charity funding medical research into Rett syndrome; notes that this partnership has been ongoing for more than a decade, with funds raised through initiatives including the annual Reverse Rett Run, donations via the Wishing Tree, collection boxes, and long-term contributions such as donating 50p from every burger sold, amounting to £12,000 over the past decade, and 50p from each of 750 turkey sandwiches sold at Christmas; acknowledges the powerful personal connection it understands is shared with the charity by trustee Catherine McKinney, and recognises her advocacy and gratitude to Archerfield’s chief executive Elly Douglas-Hamilton and the wider team; commends the organisation’s wider community support, including donations to Dirleton Playgroup, Dirleton Primary School, and various environmental and local projects, and celebrates Archerfield Walled Garden’s continued commitment to charitable giving, community wellbeing, and supporting vital research into life-changing treatments for Rett syndrome.
