That the Parliament congratulates the Glasgow FND Awareness Support Circle on the successful launch of its support group at the Parkhead Hub; notes the significant growth of the group since its launch, with membership having trebled and increasing engagement from people seeking support, shared understanding and information about Functional Neurological Disorder (FND); recognises the vital role that peer-led, community-based support plays in improving wellbeing and reducing isolation for people living with FND; understands that greater public and professional awareness of FND is essential to improve diagnosis, treatment pathways and access to appropriate support; acknowledges the efforts of all those involved in establishing and growing the Glasgow FND Awareness Support Circle, and commends their work to raise awareness and advocate for greater recognition and support for people affected by FND at both local and national level.
