That the Parliament celebrates the 10th anniversary of the Fit Like Joggers, which is a community running group based in Aberdeen; notes that the group was founded in 2016 to encourage people to get active and enjoy running in a welcoming environment; understands that it caters for both social and serious runners, operates without fees and is run entirely by volunteers; believes that the group has grown significantly over the past decade, creating a strong sense of community and supporting hundreds of people to improve their physical and mental wellbeing; recalls that it previously won the Community Sports Project of the Year at Aberdeen’s Sports Awards; applauds what it sees as this outstanding initiative, which continues to inspire healthier lifestyles, and wishes all involved with the Fit Like Joggers continued success for the future.
