Women in Enterprise CEO Carolyn Currie Appointed an MBE

That the Parliament congratulates Carolyn Currie, the CEO of Women's Enterprise Scotland, on being appointed an MBE in His Majesty The King's New Year Honours List 2026; recognises that Carolyn's appointment is for services to women's entrepreneurship, economic empowerment and to gender equality; believes that, under Carolyn's guidance, Women's Enterprise Scotland has become a leading voice in championing the economic potential of women-led businesses and driving systemic change in enterprise support; acknowledges that, in addition to her work with Women's Enterprise Scotland, Carolyn is a founding member of the UK Women's Enterprise Policy Group and a member of the Cross-party Group in the Parliament on Women in Enterprise; commends Carolyn for her advocacy and contribution to closing the gender gap in enterprise participation, and congratulates her again on her appointment as an MBE.
