That the Parliament congratulates Lisa Malcolmson, regional consultant nurse for perinatal mental health and deputy clinical director for mental health specialisms, and Rachael McBride, specialist nurse in child protection, both of NHS Grampian, on being awarded the Queen’s Nurse title; notes the Aberdeen South and North Kincardine residents were among only 18 community nurses across Scotland to receive the award; recognises that the honour reflects completion of the Queen’s Nursing Institute Scotland’s development programme, with its focus on leadership, applied practice, and equity, and commends both nurses for their dedication and outstanding contribution to community, mental health, and child protection services.
