Aberdeen Academic Wins Lifetime Achievement Award in Hydrology

That the Parliament congratulates Professor Chris Soulsby of the University of Aberdeen on receiving the Langbein Award from the American Geophysical Union; notes that this award recognises his lifetime contribution to hydrologic science and leadership in advancing understanding of water movement through landscapes; acknowledges his pioneering research, which has informed environmental protection worldwide, including work in the Cairngorms, and commends Professor Soulsby for bringing international recognition to Scottish research.
